About the traditional furniture of a yurt
|

The inside of a ger is organized with pieces of wooden furniture of small size. We can find 2 or 3 beds in the usual gers (5 walls). They are on the eastern and western sides of the yurt. During the day, they are used as sofas.
In the middle there is a small stove, used as a heater and as a cooker. Behind the stove there are usually one table and 4 stools.

On the north are found the chest(s) used as multifunctionnal storage. On the top of these chests, nomads usually put mirors or frames with pictures of family members and friends.
On the south-east, just next to the door there is the small kitchen area with cupboard(s) and shelves.
Wool or felt carpets are set out on the floor to improve the insulation. |

| Our furniture are made by the workers of our joiner's workshop. They pay very good attention to the painting and to the assembling. |
All our patterns are available in different colors, matching the yurts: vernished wood, white, orange, red, brown, dark blue, light blue and light green.
Others colors can be chosen, for example: yellow, apricot orange, light pink, purple, mauve... |
Tables and stools "nomads" have all curved legs. It is possible to make nomadic stools and tables with straight legs.
On the other hand, tables and chairs "kitchen" have straight legs. |
